Our home setting is ideal for horses and ponies needing extra care and attention while they enjoy their retirement.  Hay is provided morning and night along with any feed you decide is needed.   Hay fixed in a hay net in the field shelter and at various points around the field we leave clumps of hay to forage.

They are watched throughout the day so rugs and fly masks are changed or removed as needed according to the weather at that moment.   Daily hoof checks with hoof oil applied as well as lots of fuss, treats and cuddles 🥰

Since the livery is at our home (and I work from home) I am well placed to spot any changes.  Early recognition of laminitis, colic or distress  is critical.
